莽莽的黃河孕育了我們的民族，
可是您的子孫卻在黑暗專制下哭泣！
滾滾的長江，您的浪花沖淡了民族的光彩，
冼褪了民族的尊嚴！
是誰，壓迫了我們二百八十多年﹖
是誰，使我們喪權辱國？割地賠款，大地蒙羞？
滿清皇朝，如今安在？

珠江河畔，涓澗流水，
白雲山上皚皚的白雲，
誕生了民救星----孫中山先生，
青天白日的大纛，插遍了曾遭蹂躪的大地，
讓皇朝、黑暗、腐敗，都掃個清光，
恢復了民族的尊嚴。

黃花崗上，黃花朵朵，散發芳芳，
烈士們，您的浩氣長存，
您的碧血、丹心，照耀著光明的大道，
這是炎黃華冑的結晶，
人生自古誰無死！

且看武昌城頭的歡呼，
東亞第一個自由民主的中華，
辛亥革命僅是我們的起步，
讓我們踏著您的血跡前進，
十月十日這偉大的日子，象徵著來日的光明，

The Birth of Republic of China By Hor-ming Lee
O’, How vast, sweeping, the Yellow River,
For long years, our Chinese race you foster.
In the dark, despotic Qing government.(Ching Dynasty)
Rolling, turbulent, Yangtze River,
You washed off our national splendour.
Under yore over two hundred eighty years,
Where are human dignity and honour.
You forced us to concede our cities,
Disgraced us, to lose our able-bodies,
Paid indemnities to foreign countries,
Our masses lived in dire poverty.
Tricking, gurgling, Perl River flowing,
Bright, white clouds hovering over Mount White Cloud,
The National Savior came into being,
To cheer Dr. Sun Yat-sen there came the crowd.
The giant flag or Blur sky and White Sun,
Fling over the once-devastated land,
The Manchurian Empire was the ended.
All corruption was eradicated.
On Mound Yellow flower, yellow flowers,
Diffusing sweet smell over China Proper.
Long live sacrified, brave men of proper.
On the path, bright and great, still remain your bloods.
This is the essence of Huang-Di’s son,(Yellow Emperor)
And also the light of Yan-Di’s grandsons. (The Emperor of Fire)
Since the ancient times, man’s life has to cease,
But leaves a brilliant records in history.
O’, Hurrah! Look at Wu-chang Uprising,
In 1911………………. A beginning,
Behold, bring to light the first free China,
Republic of China………………in South-east Asia.
Let’s continue holding your blood-stained torch,
And follow your spirit to forward march,
The Double-Ten Festival, on this day,
Signifies the dawn of the future days.
Now now together climb up to the top,
Of the city wall to shout a new hope,
For the Chinese nation for ever glorious,
The future era will belong to us.
